The Boy Scouts of America have done a lot for helping shape young boys into great men, and it turns out they can do a lot to help shape you and your teen into collision-free drivers. What do the Boy Scouts have that you can apply to your driver education? I’m talking about the Boy Scout Promise: “On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty…”
To kick off our three part series on this, let’s talk about the first part of that promise, “On , “On my honor”. You can apply this to your driver education, because when you do parent taught driver education, it really is on your honor. There isn’t going to be anyone looking over your shoulder making sure you do it right. It’s up to you to make that commitment.
It’s on your honor to not cut corners, and to set a good example for your teenager.
