Driver education is not an exact science, but it’s some kind of a science, so we can use a little help from one of the greatest scientists that ever lived: Albert Einstein. What does Albert Einstein have to teach us about driver education. He said “nothing happens until something moves.” He wasn’t specifically talking about driver education when he said that, but we can still use it to help us teach our teens to drive.

Nothing happens until something moves. For you, this means that nothing happens until you get moving. When it’s time to get going on the day’s driving lesson, you may be tired, you may not be in a hurry to get started. Just get moving. Once you get started, get walking around the vehicle doing the pre-lesson check, things will start happening. The lesson will begin, it will go well, it will be fun. But you have to start moving first. Nothing happens until something moves.
