As experienced drivers, we sometimes take the road signs for granted. I’ve noticed that when I teach experienced drivers, like fleet drivers, if I ask them what the speed limit on a road is, they wouldn’t know. They just know they’re moving with the flow of traffic.

This is something many of us do, as we get accustomed to our driving patterns. However, as you are teaching your teen to drive, I encourage you to pay more attention to the road signs as you drive. This will aid you in setting a good example for your teen to follow.

The road signs will most likely all be new to your teen, and you’ll notice that she sometimes has to think about what they mean when she sees them.
